Georgia Tech’s Research Data Management program is a collaborative, institute-wide effort jointly led by the Office of Information Technology (OIT) and the Library. Its purpose is to assist faculty, staff, and students manage data throughout the research process.

Key Aspects of the Program

Georgia Tech Library

The Georgia Tech Library, with its expertise in data management, can assist you in managing and archiving your research data. They are well-versed in Data Management Plans (DMP) and the DMP Tool, as well as data sharing and archiving, and they ensure compliance with all federal agency policies.

Georgia Tech Cybersecurity

Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) refers to unclassified information and data that needs protection from public disclosure. Georgia Tech Cybersecurity guides faculty on compliance with DFARS clause 252.204-7012 and NIST 800-171 requirements for protected data. You can learn more about complying with these regulations on this page.
